About Development Musically Inspired!

Hi I'm Heidi, I have been teaching piano lessons for over 35 years. I have a bachelors degree in Family Life Studies through Utah State University with emphasis in a variety of music courses. I have worked as a tutor and substitute in the BOise School District for seven years and an Early Childhood Parent Educator for four years in which I helped parents facilitate learning for their infants and toddlers who were at risk for developmental delays. I love teaching how to develop strong family relationships and I love how music can be a catalyst for growth of strong individuals within their family and community!

MY Expertise: I Use MUSIC LEARNING to BUILD and reinforce PATHWAYS for fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, language and communication skills, self-regulation, enhanced social interactions,problem solving skills, plus . . . last but not least . . . Musical learning inspires the development of self-confidence For learning and thriving throughout life.

I have found Heidi to be patient, insightful, adaptive, and caring in her work with my son Trevin. Trevin is on the Autism Spectrum. He doesn’t always follow the lesson plan but he knows when someone cares about him.

My daughter has been using Development Musically Inspired for about a year now to help with sensory integration. In the past year she has grown so much. She's learned so much through the gift of music and the hard work of Heidi.
